Content Manager

Cassidy Schaeffer is a freelance content writer and editor specializing in the home and garden, landscaping, and agriculture spaces. She has a Bachelor of Science in Agroecology and Agriculture Extension and Education. She completed coursework in entomology and Integrated Pest Management and taught pest management as part of her student teaching experience. Cassidy also spent time interning in ecology and horticultural labs. She also worked with USDA-FAS, USAID, and Penn State team members to develop a pest management curriculum for high school students and farmers in Guatemala.

Currently, Cassidy coordinates professional development opportunities for educators centered around agricultural topics such as beneficial and invasive species.
